  1. Preliminary discussion and needs analysis

In the initial phase, the specific requirements are determined. As part of the risk assessment, the work areas and activities to be included in the assessment must be defined. The objectives and framework conditions are then defined in joint consultation.

  1. Determination and assessment of mental stress

As part of this step, the psychological stress in the workplace is systematically recorded and assessed. This can take the form of a written employee survey using a questionnaire (also possible digitally), observations, observation interviews or moderated analysis workshops.

  1. Development and implementation of measures

The stress factors identified serve as a basis for the development of measures aimed at improving working conditions. These can be organizational as well as technical modifications or training measures.

  1. Effectiveness control

After implementation, the effectiveness of the measures is reviewed. Have the targeted improvements been achieved? Are there any new pressures that need to be taken into account?

  1. Updating and documentation

The process is continuously adapted to new circumstances, e.g. due to changes in work organization or technological developments. All steps and measures are documented.

Prerequisites for implementation

  1. Appointment of a contact person in the company
  2. Ensuring access to the online survey for all employees (insofar as it is an online survey)

  5. Technical requirements (insofar as it is an online survey)
  6. Data protection

The duration of a GpB is usually approx. 8 to 12 weeks. The exact duration depends on the size of the company, the complexity of the working conditions and the methods chosen.
